The cards
What are they printed on?
Smooth, premium card stock with a playing-card finish, poker size (63 × 88 mm, 2.5 × 3.5 in).
How many cards are in a deck?
54 playing cards: the 52, plus two jokers. A 55th card carries the Qualia mark. Every card shares your back design.
Who prints them?
A specialist playing-card printer. We chose our suppliers carefully, and we're proud to offer a high-quality deck at a fair price.
What does the deck come in?
It depends on the tier. An Instant deck comes in a clear plastic hinged case, so the top card shows through. A Studio or Commissioned deck comes in a custom tuck box, matte, printed with art designed to match your deck. The box is part of the price.
Ordering
Do I see it before it prints?
Yes. Once the whole deck is drawn you get a proof of every card. Nothing prints until you approve it.
How long does it take?
About 2–3 weeks from your approval to your door. Past orders took 15 to 25 days, printing and shipping together.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing extra in the US: shipping is in every price below. Outside the US: write to us.
Can I get a refund?
Every deck is printed to order, so we can't offer refunds. If you're unhappy with your deck, write to us and we'll talk about sending a replacement order at cost. A Studio or Commissioned deposit is different: it's refunded if you don't like the first cards.

Price per deck, one design, US shipping included. The more you order, the closer the three tiers get.

What do Instant, Studio and Commissioned include?
Instant, $55 (as low as $11). The deck in your free preview, printed: illustrated courts, aces, jokers and back; classic pips on the number cards. In a clear plastic case.
Studio, $79 (as low as $12). Your preview, finished by a designer: illustrated courts, aces, jokers and back; your own suit symbols on the number cards; one round of changes. In a custom tuck box.
Commissioned, $99 (as low as $13). Every card designed around your theme, number cards included, each one its own scene. We plan it with you from your notes, and you see every card before you buy. In a custom tuck box.
Prices are per deck and include US shipping. Studio and Commissioned start with a $20 deposit, which comes off the price.
